WHerever you want to go
Experience the unforgettable joy of vintage travel trailer camping.
Pick a destination.
Stay in one location and use the trailer as your home base. You've got two ways to do it: effortless, or immersive.
Effortless: Nomad personnel can tow your trailer to your destination and set it all up for an effortless vintage camping experience. At the end of your vacation, pack your car and head home. We'll take care of it from there. Limited geographic area; delivery fees apply.
Immerse yourself in the trailer experience: You can tow your trailer with your own vehicle or with one of our tow vehicles and set it up yourself for the full travel trailer experience. (Conditions and restrictions apply.)
In either case, you can name the destination, or we can make suggestions for you. The possibilities are endless.
Make it a road trip.
Make it a road trip and see more of the country than you ever imagined. Use your own tow vehicle, or rent one of our well-equipped, 4-5 passenger 4WD pickup trucks (conditions and restrictions apply). Stop in just a couple places over the course of a week or two, or go somewhere new each night. Come to us with your own itinerary, or let us develop a customized travel plan that's perfect for your vacation goals, and matches your towing and camping skill levels.
Nomad Mobile Motor Lodge in Jemez Springs, New Mexico.
We have established a western base camp on seven acres in the Jemez Mountains just west of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Located on the San Antonio Creek in Jemez Springs, NM, the land currently hosts several of our vintage trailers, off-the-grid.
We invite guests to stay with us in one of our trailers for a day or two, then hook it up and head out on an unforgettable New Mexico road trip. We're developing a series of historic New Mexico travel tours as well, based loosely on the "Harvey Tours" concept but adapted for travel trailers. We're also always ready to put together a custom itinerary. Just ask!
The San Antonio Creek, which is stocked year-round with four kinds of trout, flows directly through the middle of our property, so we also offer fishing packages.
As for the future of Nomad, plans include a motor court with six pads with full hook-ups for a rotating fleet of vintage trailers, as well as an off-grid grouping of "canned ham" trailers with solar power, composting toilets and a community trailer with two full baths and a kitchen/dining/gathering room.
